NIKI, an Indonesian singer-songwriter who debuted and built her career in the United States, just released her third album on 9 August. Titled “Buzz”, it contains 13 songs that narrate the uncertainties and NIKI’s acceptance during her early twenties.
Just a week after the launch of Buzz, on 15 August, NIKI started her second world tour—following The Nicole Tour in 2022-2023—in Los Angeles, USA. Afterward, NIKI performed her new songs in North America: Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, and dozens of cities in several US states, followed by some European countries including Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom (Manchester and London), and Ireland.
If you plan to vacation in America or Europe at the end of this year, you might find time to watch NIKI’s concert in one of those cities during your holiday. After her final show in Ireland on 10 November, NIKI will take a break for about three months before continuing the Asia and Australia/New Zealand leg of her tour, from 9 February to 15 March 2025. Jakarta will surely be one of NIKI’s concert stops, scheduled for 14-15 February 2025.
Lollapalooza is an annual rock music festival in Chicago that features tens of singers and musicians from hip-hop, techno, and alternative rock genres over 4 consecutive days. According to Britannica, this festival has been around since 1991 and attracts about 200,000 visitors yearly.
Since 2011, Lollapalooza has expanded to several countries in South America and Europe, specifically Chile, Brazil, Germany, and Sweden. Last year, in 2023, Lollapalooza was even organized in India. For the remainder of 2024, there is Lollapalooza Berlin, which will be held on 7-8 September.
The first day of Lollapalooza Berlin will feature Martin Garrix, Burna Boy, OneRepublic, Louis Tomlinson, Shirin David, and Von Wegen Lisbeth as headliners. Meanwhile, the second day will showcase Sam Smith, Seventeen, The Chainsmokers, Niall Horan, Cro, and Loyle Carner as headliners. 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup
The FIFA Futsal World Cup is a world futsal tournament organized by the world football federation, FIFA. This year, the FIFA Futsal World Cup will be held in Uzbekistan, specifically in Andijan, Bukhara, and Tashkent Cities, from 14 September to 6 October 2024.
During these 23 days, national futsal teams and the best players in the world will compete for the champion title. The 24 futsal teams from 24 countries are divided into six main groups for the knock-out stage. The two top scoring teams from each group will then compete again until the final winner is determined.
